I don’t remember the exact quote but in short, something about coping being the ultimate form of flattery . But damn , their design team must be have every copy of “Janes”, or a lot of stolen blue prints.
What happened someone didn't steal any designs for thrust vectoring nozzles before the prototype was built ?
The intakes look really small the whole "suck, bang, blow, go thing" looks impossible and the canopy looks funky as in not worthy of flight looks more like molded abs plastic.

Or the Lodge Hall between the pancake breakfast and the fish fry.

I rode in that with my kid this summer at Disneyworld. It flies great but they took the cables off for these pictures. It flew fast enough to make me queesy. I figure I could have thrown projectiles from it thus qualifying it in a ground support role.

Hilarious and true!! </div></div>
Somebody needs to take the time to Photoshop a few of those banners ... tractor companies, seed companies ...
It's obviously a mock up, but there are few things about it which I find interesting. The wing shape looks like it was designed to work in ground effect, and the Iranians said it was designed for low level flight. They probably cant produce a good engine but they need a jet if they want to make it at all stealthy. Making it small will reduce the engine requirements and also RCS.
The Iranian have a lot of small boats to attack our navy with, the best counter we have for those boats a helicopters armed with hellfire's. If they want to attack the navy they need to get past the helicopters. A cheap slow low flying stealth aircraft would be a good way to at least keep the helicopters busy.

Yeah, they sure do, don't they, Dave?
Remind me to send you any coupons I come across for white sales.

I don't know a lot about Naval tactics...but carriers have a CAP up pretty much 24/7 "over there", don't they?

Don't be so smug. They are still managing to take over US drones and land them so aren't as dumb as you may think.
