Anyone having issues with Fulton Armory?

Yes I understand they are busy. So buys the won't answer the phone, return emails and their website is down but that is no excuse to crap on customers.

In late December I ordered all the parts to build a FA Titan 308. I mean every single part down to the pins and springs. Total came to over $1800. So after the initial order recieved email I hear nothing from them until three weeks ago I get an email that my lower is shipping to my FFL. OK cool. It comes in a week later. So now how long until the rest comes in. Well last week I get notice I am getting a package from them. COOL I say finally get to finish the build. The shipping email lists all of the parts I ordered and it is complete. Well I get home on Tuesday and I have a long skinny package and a tiny little box waiting. Inside the tube is the barrel and in the little box are all the small parts. No upper reciever and no BCG! WTF! The invoice has the upper and BCG scratched off with out of stock next to it. No note saying when it will be coming...NOTHING. I have emailed them and tried to call but NOTHING!

So now I have a worthless pile of parts and no indication on IF or WHEN I will recieve the rest of them. What's even more frustrating is they won't talk to me.

I have purchased several barrels and many parts from them and for the most part they have been great but this is very disappointing.

Now Seekins Precision they are an awesome company. I can't imagine they are any less busy than FA but they communicate with you fast and I have recieved my orders from them well faster than promised.

So you're ranting that the semi auto you bought well after Newtown hasn't shipped in full yet? Dude, calm down, have a good time putting your lower together and the rest will be along when they get their parts in. Yes, they took their website and phones down to try to fill existing orders. Lack of bolt carriers is what's throwing off even the biggest of companies right now.

They're absolutely flooded and comparing them to Seekins is way off. Seekins is a premium builder, and Fulton caters to everyone out there including the lowliest ARFCOM troll.

I ordered two in stock barrels from Fulton Armory ten days ago and got my shipping notice yesterday. They still get a thumbs up in my book.

He's not ranting about something he bought after Newtown and hasn't received...he's ranting about being sold something that was promised as "in stock" and available, then being told something else later down the road and then being shut off completely in terms of communication to explain what the hell is going on, how they plan to address the issue, etc.

A buddy of mine, wvtrainer here on the Hide, is in the same boat with an order he placed a while back. Most of what was ordered arrived quick enough, but same story on the upper receiver (which was clearly in stock and available according to FA when he ordered it along with his other parts for a complete build). Comms have been non-existent and he got the same "scratched out" part and "out of stock" bull@#$% with no explanation, no info, no nothing.

Fulton has also screwed over others here on the Hide with pretty substantial orders for what was supposed to be upper/lower receiver sets (except when they arrived...no uppers and no explanations). I'll let that individual come forward if they chose and share the details.

Fulton is certainly not fostering any positive feelings from their customer base these days in terms of piss poor communication and failing to keep their word on what is and is NOT available when you order! I agree that these are crazy times...but that is ZERO excuse for the poor communication that Fulton has had across the board and their lack of CS in general.

it took my order about 2 weeks, but that was just a carrier, and guts.

Well I ordered the carrier and guts separately too. I guess you had a higher ranking than I did. Sheesh it's not like it was a $20 order. It was over $1800! It is also interesting you got two barrels in two weeks when I did not get mine until 6 weeks.

Frankly I would have cancelled the whole order if I knew it was going to be peice meal over months. But I did not have that option apparently. No business should ever go incommunicado with their customers. That's just bullshit.

I ordered a stripped Bolt Carrier along with a key, firing pin, and retainer about two weeks ago. Just got the carrier in hand today. The rest should be here tomorrow.

I'm not sure how they are staffed, but I'm willing to bet most of their staff is hell bent on getting orders out the door. It probably wouldn't hurt for them to hire someone who could answer emails though.

I agree that they shouldn't go full dark, and that I'm not arguing with. Neither you nor I have any idea what their staffing is, but I do wish they would trickle through a bit. As for why your order took longer than mine, it was probably due to them trying to combine the shipping or something.

One thing is good though, they don't charge until shipping so it isn't like they have your money and your product.

I'm keeping a great amount of patience with the firearms industry right now, and will tolerate delays in communication within reason. Next month, once everything has had a chance to catch up, well then I might have a different attitude. But for now, patience is the name of the game.

they are going dark for 4-5 days one week and taking orders the next. but they have always been weird to deal with. they're about an hour from me, but have no store front.

I ordered a stripped upper for a LR-308 plus everything needed to finish it out. All items were "in stock" when I ordered. These items were ordered on January 8th, order #34763. I haven't heard anything since. YMMV

Well, it says in the original post it was ordered in late December (therefore after Newton), and gives no indication that I can see that the parts were all indicated as being in stock.

That said, I'm still waiting for stuff from Brownells that was indicated as in stock on December 18, and although they are very nice when one calls they have no information regarding projected ship date, etc.

As for the Fulton order, I'd call it par for the course at this point, or maybe even count myself lucky that I already received most of the needed parts. If you want to feel better about Fulton, try placing an order at a place like Botach...
