Placed an order 12/28/12. Site said 3-5 days shipping. How far are they actually backed up? How long are their order taking to ship? I checked my order it says processing.
    TIA

    What did you order?

I placed an order for 10 20rd Pmags a few weeks back and my CC hasn't been charged yet.

Re: Anyone Ordered From DS Arms Lately

I ordered an HK 91/93 bipod. My credit card has only the authorization (pending) on the day I ordered but not actually charged.

Re: Anyone Ordered From DS Arms Lately

Its been a while since I ordered (well before the current craziness), but even then, they are FAR from the most expedient folks in the industry when it comes to order processing, shipping, etc.

My last purchase with them (literally and figuratively) was for a B&T mount that I was told was in stock and ready to ship. About 4.5 weeks later without so much as a "Please pardon our inexcusable delay and lack of comms over the last month" note in the box, my mount finally arrived. I never did get any form of explanation out of them, but it pissed me off enough that I won't be doing business with them again.

    ORD:
I feel the same way. This is the last time I will order from them. What makes matters worse I leaving on a trip at the end of the month and have notified them of this. If they ship while I am away and they leave it on my door step and package gets stolen there is no way I will pay for the bipod. If it took 4.5 weeks before who knows how long it will take them now.

    ORD,
By the way I took your advice and ordered the PSG1 stock from Adam on Sunday, shipped on Tuesday and will arrive tomorrow, Thursday. Thanks again for the heads up. Seems like I keep saying that to you.

Re: Anyone Ordered From DS Arms Lately

The only thing I can suggest is keeping up with comms by any means possible and riding their ass until you get some form of a response, explanation, etc. I can't help but think that if I'd have pursued them with a little more emphasis that I might have had my mount in half the time...but who knows. In any event...regardless of their prices or their stocking of certain products...it isn't worth my time or my hard-earned money to do business with the likes of them when there are businesses out there that care about CS!

As for your PSG-1 buttstock assembly...that's excellent news. I am sure you'll be pleased with both Adam's service and of course the stock itself. While there is simply no excuse for the prices on the PSG-1 stocks these days (aside from production being basically non-existent, the hassle of importing them, etc., etc., etc.

), the quality is beyond question. They are truly excellent pieces of hardware in every respect!

I am really please with Adam's service is a great understatement. Thanks to you I will have the stock tomorrow. The cost, expensive absolutely. But I am at the stage in my life that if I want something I buy it. Fortunately I have the funds.

As for DSA I will give them 1 more week then send them a Certified Letter Return Receipt Requested (keeping copies of the order and letter and USPS documents)to either send the package to my brother's house a few blocks away or deliver it before I leave on vacation or ship it after I return. If they
do not I will file a dispute with AMEX and send them the correspondence sent to DSA. In addition I will keep sending them e-mails and faxes of my intentions. WE will see what happens. There is just no excuse for their unmitigated gall of refusing to answer a customers queries. Adam's company is as swamped with orders as they are but manage superior customer service.

Re: Anyone Ordered From DS Arms Lately

I've been buying stuff from a lot of places for a few years now and DSArms was/is BY FAR the WORST place I have ever dealt with.

I ordered two stripped uppers and a NP3 BCG back on JUNE 6 2012.
The two stripped uppers were delivered around August some time and I was told that they were waiting on materials for the bolt carrier group and that it should be ready to ship within two weeks.
I called again in October and left a message with no response.
I emailed and called in December with no response.

Its now more than 7 months past and I can't even get a hold of anyone and in the current market, I know it aint happening anymore.
The price on the website has changed 3 times since I placed my initial order and that tells me that they ReStocked their supply three times without sending mine.

I'll be shopping elsewhere from now on, complete bull shit.

I hope yo have more luck calling them than I did. They put you right to voice mail then say the "box is full, please hang up" and disconnect you.

Re: Anyone Ordered From DS Arms Lately

I placed an order with them a couple of weeks ago for some FAL tune up parts, received the parts 5 days later. I'm guessing time factor is more about availability than poor service.

you're going to have a very hard time convincing me that a BCG was backordered by 8 months back in JUNE. Especially when the guy I talked to, suggested otherwise.

Re: Anyone Ordered From DS Arms Lately

Ordered stripped uppers and BCG's on 12/20 Received the uppers a couple of weeks ago. No BCG's yet.

Re: Anyone Ordered From DS Arms Lately

The saga continues. When I first ordered the bipod it showed ships in 3-5 days. When I checked my account a week later it showed In process. Today it showed "Back ordered, no set shipping date".

Re: Anyone Ordered From DS Arms Lately

The Saga finally ends. Robert from RTG sent mean e-mail saying they are excepting orders again. Promptly ordered the same bipod, same price + 3 Excellent 20 round HK 308 mags ($6.95 each ) from RTG and cancelled my order from DSA by e-mail, letter and had AMEX de-authorize and block any future order for the bipod.

    ORD,
Robert lives and works in Peoria, AZ I am 90 miles north of him. I've been buying parts from him for my MG 34 and Mg 42 for 15 years some on line orders but mostly at the SAR Show in Phoenix. You are right he is a class act. Great source for MG 34 &42 parts. I converted my MG 42 over to 7.62X51 NATO with all the latest MG 3 parts from him. Fortunately I have a life time supply of Portuguese 7.62X51 non corrosive I bought back when it was only 17 cents a round linked.
