I just got these for my Razor that's mounted to my 24" Grendel. Anybody use these? How do you like them?

The top red numbers are the moa marks, next set of numbers running horizonal are windage for 5,10,15 mph, and the bottom is yardage. Seems practical if you get everything dialed in just right, and you can still make adjustments with temp, elevation, etc.

Re: Turret Tape

OK, I'll take the bait. Where and who made these for you and how much? Is the tape load specific for certain altitude? and what zero? Or is this something you have made for yourself?

I'm assuming the windage values correspond with the distance values below- just an easy spot for quick reference- once you get used to looking something so... "cluttered".

For reticle holds for wind.

Re: Turret Tape

No bait guys, I don't have anything to do with the guy that made these, paid for them. Yes they are based of the information you provide, and he uses a ballistics program for the drops and windage. I shot at distance to get my drop and true velocity to plug into the calculator. The turret marks match what my Shooter App calculates. As I said, you can still make adjustments for altitude and such, but this gives a baseline for your standard conditions.

The windage is on the elevation knob because it corresponds with distance. So you turn to say 650 yards and look up to see what windage you should dial at that distance for 5,10, or 15 mpg wind. Just a cheat sheet that again you can still adjust for more wind, etc. I think they're pretty slick, but obviously haven't used it yet in a practical situation.

Not sure if they are the same brand but the link above is to the ones that have been out for some time now.

The are designed and made by a couple of great guys who are big into competitive shooting. </div></div>

I run those and they are fkin awesome. Send them your confirmed dope for different DA's and they make em for your elevation turret. I run them on my USO SN3's and they are the fastest setup I've found. I saw quite a few on the top shooters' scopes at the PRS Finale.

I've got no input on the one pictured by the OP, but the taskforce4 is a lot simpler.

Re: Turret Tape

The guy who did mine will make them as simple as you want also. I requested the windage on there since the turrets have room on the Razor. Part of the reason they are "cluttered" is it's the new high speed turret with 25moa per turn. They are cheap enough you could have multiple sets done for multiple DA, etc.

Not sure how the windage thing isn't clear, it's just the simplest place to put your windage correction because it will correspond with your distance and therefore elevation. How would you put the corrections on the windage turret????

As far as cluttered, it's very simple to look at the distance and dial. If you want your windage adjustmetn, just look up at the next row of numbers, if not pull the trigger. Doesn't seem too complicated to me, but again, I haven't used it in a practical application so my opinion may change.

Re: Turret Tape

I think that's may violate the forum rules. Again I don't have anything to do with them and don't sell them, I just bought some and was impressed. You can find the guy on 6mmbr.com. I hope it's OK to post a link to the discussion, if not feel free to remove. I thought it was relavent to the type of shooting most on this board do.

I was wondering why I got so much emails about my tapes, its been a while since Ive advertised them (thank's Blackfoot)

I can make them for any target or tactical style turret, I can put the correction by click real value or 25 yards increments, your choice. Can also customise the colors as you wish. Tapes with wind corrections are not available for all models, prices are between 25-35$ depending if you want wind corrections or not

Re: Turret Tape

Several years old metric evolution version from us. Ranges (hundrers of meters) for tree turret rounds, scope pre-HS NXS with 50 click turret. Three pre-calculated wind values, red = right correction.

Re: Turret Tape

Pffft. Whatev. No blue turrets?

Huskemaw scopes are WAY better!

Kidding OK?

Makes use of tall turrets.

This maybe one way to get your turrets to line up straight if you are having that problem? He He.

Looks like the finer marks are for shorter yardages? I think you would need the finer marks for when you bullet is dropping faster at longer yardages.

Re: Turret Tape

Badass!!! Looks great. Can't decide if I want actual click value or 25 yard intervals
....
Leaning towards 25...

Decisions..

Re: Turret Tape

Taskforce makes some great ones, very durable can be removed and they can put in your up close dope for inside 50 yards
