In an hour and a half I was able to call every single Washington State Senator and leave a message. Just a little bit of time on everybody's part can go along way...Pick up the phone, the only negative action, is inaction.

Sorry for the typo the match is actually on the 6th of April. An I actually received a response from our dist 10 rep that was positive!! But still gotta pound away at king county.

Crumb canyon is approx 8 miles up the entiat river rd on the right. Real easy to get to, its just a bigass loop and we will be at the top.
It did burn last year but I will see how bad in March when the drifts clear.
Bring sides if you can, Im gonna smoke a couple turkeys.

Aah, but you can only shoot it on your personal property or designated ranges I think Jesse. That means matches on DNR property or even like Jake's match would be a no go I believe.

Marty, no apology necessary, if it looks like shit, smells like shit...it is shit! Probably copied directly from something Boxer or Fiendstein introduced in DC, and I'll bet the bill sponsors have no freaking clue as to the terminology in the bill.

Craig, unfortunate I believe there is going to be a wholesale assault on our firearms rights by the mis-informed. There's nothing that galvanizes this like the loss of children. But it will not prevent further tragedies, its the nature of man. Back in 87, in the UK which has some of the strictest firearms laws there was the Hungerford shooting, as a result they banned all semis, the perp a lunatic. Jump forward ten years and you have the Dunblane shooting, another lunatic with 2 hi-powers and 2 revolvers kills children, as a result they ban handguns. Jump forward 15 years and another lunatic kills 13 driving around shooting with a shotgun randomly, as unarmed police and citizens watched helplessly. Well they couldn't very well ban shotguns too, tragedies still happen. Tasmania guy goes on rampage, Australia buys back 700000 semis the murders continue. They still don't get it, people kill people, for fucks sake there were more people killed by hammers last year than any type of rifle, lets ban hammers. Makes sense at least according to these idiots.

Hey Guys-

I am going to give a sneak peak for my newest rifle build. If you don't remember me I made a 338 lapua a few years back

Now my new gun I am making. I have no practical use for it only that I want to make a big gun. It will be a 20/50 round like the one Anzino Ironworks makes.

It will be approx 78" long and weigh 110LBS. The barrell will be approx 42" long. I have to make everything for this gun, Reloading press, Dies, Even the bullets. I am guessing this project will take approx 2-3 years to make. Anyway here are some teaser photos

No problem. I also will want to try shooting it 2 miles or more. The problem is I don't know anywhere that goes that far that I can shoot.

I've never understood the whole 'sports fan' thing. Wearing all the logo gear, decals on your truck, tattoos (FFS!); being glued to the TV all weekend, yelling and screaming at the little moving players like it makes a difference.... baffling. Why?
Same goes for NASCAR, too. Bunch of people go round in circles, some wreck, eventually somebody does something that makes them the winner- I think it's time based? Number of laps?
I'll watch motorcycle road racing, when I think about it, just because I used to do it and it's interesting to see the equipment and how it's changed, but ask me to pick the top few riders and I'll be stumped.
Funny, too- I used to race motocross and drag race, had sponsorship, bfd... but watching them takes me about 30 seconds, then I'm done.

Hey fellas, I just wanted to direct you attention to this as I just read it in the paper today.

There is supposedly a provision in one of the new bills to allow the sheriff to conduct a warrantless search of "assault weapons" owners to maintain compliance with the statute. What is going on up there? I am planning on retiring on the dry side of your state to take advantage of the taxes but this is crazy.

One of the major gun-control efforts in Olympia this session calls for the sheriff to inspect the homes of assault-weapon owners. Read here: Seattle Times

Great match at Nisqually with plenty of good competition.
Once again I learned that no matter how much you practice dry firing unsupported it really doesn't necessarily mean it will translate to points at a match lol.
