Anyhow, if you're talking about any other brands then I would question them.
Also, Beretta 92/M9s need a tiny amount of oil on the rails to run properly. Back in my instructor days I was witness to thousands upon thousands of rounds being fired through these pistols, and other than the limp wristing newbie shooters, the #1 cause of failures were dry weapons. It doesn't take much, but if they're dry bare metal they WILL NOT RUN. Dampen a Q-Tip with CLP or similar and wipe down the entire rail channel, reassemble and work it in.
I'm not saying you don't know how to lube your weapon, but when you don't mention that it is, I have to wonder... </div></div>
+1
but screw the "tiny amount of oil"...lol
Make sure there is a good solid coat of oil on the frame rails and on the inside of the slide rail. Lube around the locking block too. Run the gun nice and wet, I do this on all my pistols. If you are range shooting it, then get it good and wet. If you are carrying it put a light coa ton the rails but make sure they are fully covered, cycle it a bunch of times to work it in and then wipe off any excess that may leak out. No matter what make sure it, and any other gun is well lubed. Nothing runs well dry...a Glock may "run" dry, but will always run better wet.
And yes, I have 10's of thousands of rounds through both Glocks and Berettas as well as 100's of thousands through 1911's.
