GAP surgeon 6cm w/ McCourt munitions

All i can say is WOW! this gun and cartridge is amazing, its not my first time out with it but first time i have had time to write about it. I have a templar 260 set up very similar and after some talks with George had him put together a surgeon 6cm to try the action and a GAP10 in 6cm. McCourt has been loading all my 6cm for me. I took a trip to Tuscon to visit a TusconD and friends. Great day with some pretty frustrating wind. This gun is just SO MUCH fun to shoot.

hits out to 1100, 900 on a 60 percent IPSC was effortless. The vortex razor keeps on ticking away on its third diferent gun.

How do you like the stock? I have been wanting to get behind one for a while, just haven't had a chance. After some time with a couple different chassis I am about done with traditional stocks. Still want to try this one though.

The Sentinel I had was by far my favorite traditional stock ever. I sold it after buyng my Whiskey 3 chassis. I think I made the right choice... but if I were to go back to a traditional stock, I'd try to find a Sentinel again.

What barrel length did you go with on your 6CM bolt gun? I'll be making that decision in a few days myself. Do you have velocity data? I am trying to go as short as I can and still reach about 3100fps with 105s.

lol those goals don't lend to a short barrel. i think mine is 25" i let the GAP boys pick. i went in blind on this caliber so i left my choice to the experts

Bigjoe, you have any idea what velocity you're getting with Andy's loads? Im using that same bullet in my 6 Creed, probably a different powder, though.
