Take a look a Connecticut precision chambering. It is not a DIY affair, but they set the barrel back/clean the chamber up, tighten the bolt, and work the trigger. Well worth the Money.

To answer your question, I am running the VBZ with a weaver V24 scope, and have more rounds through it than I can count.

It is my all time favorite .22

I would suggest Lilja drop-in bull barrel and McMillan rimfire magnum varmint stock, lot of $ but if you have the budget would be very nice set up. Look at some of the older threads I posted a picture of that stock.

I've heard of the stock but not the barrel, can you get it threaded for a suppressor. I wish tactical solutions would make a barrel for it, and houge would come out with an overmold stock, that would be Mantastic!
