Re: light/laser setup

My wife has TRL4 light & laser. It fits the bill @ just over 100 bucks.

It rides on a XD40 & she's put about 300rds down the tube using the laser & the zero has held since day one. It's mostly a night stand gun when I work over night.

I'm not a huge fan of lasers but if god forbid someone came in the house I believe the laser adds confidence that's she's going to hit what ever that laser is pointing at..

You can go wrong with stream lights... My personal fav is the TRL3 because its small and doesn't add much weight but lights up a room nicely.

I like the Viridian X5L line. Had a problem with a C5L (compact model), but never with the X5L. Bright light and laser stays in place well. Fits a P226/229 really well.

Re: light/laser setup

I have an Insight combo on my Glock 21. I got caught flat footed in my driveway some years ago at night, won't happen again, and I figured my wife and daughter would appreciate this set up when I'm not home, kind like a confidence builder. MX6 I believe. Tough as nails and like a portable sun. Made in the USA too! Hope this helps. Good luck and good shooting!

I use the viridians. the C5L goes through battery quickly, but have been problem free.

also yesterday they seemed to have either lost their zero, because they were both way off, which is odd... ( did use diff weight ammo so maybe that's why)
