I now have seven S&B 5-25's and I have bought two within the last 8 months. I have had zero problems with the recent ones. Yes, you might hear someone having a problem with theirs, but name me a manufacturer in any industry with a flawless record...

I've experienced problems with Toyota all the way to Apple products. What's important is if the manufacturer will stand by their product. For the record, Schmidt & Bender will stand by their product.

With Jerry R down in Virginia handling S&B repairs, S&B owners have nothing to worry about. Still the gold standard.

Will work fine. I have mine in 1" height Seekins rings on a 20 MOA base so that I can put the scope onto a bolt gun easily.

This looks nice!

Is the scope factory tan or did you have it cerakoted? It looks a little darker than usual...maybe just the lighting.

I've never heard of anybody owning seven 5-25 S&B's, so I was just wondering...

When you set the diopter adjustments, do all seven of the scopes line up at the exact same spot on the ocular?

When you set the parallax adjustment on the dial at the same setting on all seven scopes, at 300 yards for example, do all seven scopes have zero reticle movement and clear focus?

Is the glass as "clear" on all of the scopes?

What is the color code on the yellow/gold S&B's... if at all? Some I see look like your everyday tan, and some look distinctly gold... Almost yellow in some photos. Is this just the camera playing tricks, or is there an actual color difference??

Just check the warranty period. 2 years in the EU. Dont know if it is the same in the US.

Just out of curiosity, being as you have that monolithic rail, why do you have the optic set so far back?
In my experience with AR platform rifles, scopes with relief in the 3.5" to 4" range require the ocular roughly flush or forward of the charging handle in order to get any kind of decent cheek weld, and this with an A2 stock or M4 in the longest position.

I have several scopes on ARs and they are all mounted in cantilever mounts on A4 uppers in order to get behind the scopes at all.
