Possible S&B turret issue

I got my first S&B Polar in this week and noticed that the windage turret has some slack at the end of its right hand travel at 4 mils The elevation turret has the slack when it is dialed all the way up. If i go 1 tenth back down it goes away. The movement is not there when the turret lock is on. Is this normal?

I haven’t experienced that with mine but I can tell you that the customer service experience when I had a question was great.

I’d give them a call and see if they can help.

I called Schmidt & Bender and everything is good. I have the scope mounted now and I love it.
