This will be my first pistol reload venture but I've been doing centerfire rifle for some time. I'll be loading for a S&W .357 mag R8 and a Ruger 77/357 rifle. I'm looking at the lead bullets for low recoil practice loads but am concerned about leading. I'm a big fan of the Nornady products and like their 140-158gr offerings in cowboy lead bullets. Any issues with leading by users? Thanks.

I've used tens of thousands of bullets from Magnus bullets. Terry Labbe is the owner and is extremely helpful. Below is his website. I just noticed he is no longer accepting orders until he catches up.

Others who are very good would be LaserCast, R&R Bullets, and Dardas.

Proper bullet sizing, lube, velocity and loading techniques will minimize if not completely eliminate any leading you might have.

I'll recommend Missouri Bullet, the prices are great, customer service is top notch and their product is fantastic.
I run their 158 LSWC under 16gr of H110/296 with zero pressure problems and no leading after 500 rounds.

A new company just came into the cast bullet service, Falcon bullets. I have yet to try them but they are getting good
reviews from some of the other forums that I frequent.
