With cans and lever rifles getting more and more popular, I figured it might be a beneficial for those of us who have fallen down the big-bore subsonic rabbit hole to have a thread to discuss what's working for us powder, case prep and bullet wise.

My particular poison is .44 subs out of a Henry X and 77/44, but .357, .45 LC, 450BM, 458 Socom, etc discussion welcome.

Getting consistent accuracy out of these kinds of loads has been tricky for me, and my standards for good enough are a good bit lower than with my other rifles. Having tried CFE pistol, HP-38/W231, Longshot, HS-6 and AA#7 with a variety of ~300gr cast and jacketed bullets, I'm seeing the most success with AA#7 and HS-6 at this point. Having uniformly clean cases seems to have a large impact on 100yd accuracy with my .44s, I got some strange results with using vibratory cleaned vs wet tumbled w/armor all cases.

Below is some of the load development I've worked on.

I'm very interested to hear what's working/not working for everyone else.
