Just ordered a Manners T-2 for my savage 4.40", going with CDI bottom metal as well. I sold my old stock and sent the action screws with it. Does the Manners come with the trigger guard screw ( my H-S come with one), and does the cdi come with new action bolts? My CDI bm I bought for my last build( I got it used) came with some, but I dont know if the seller just added them to the deal.
If not I guess its off to midwayusa to get some, Im guessing standard Savage 10 action bolts and trigger guard screw will work, or is the trigger guard threaded for a bolt?
Thanks

My savage Manners came with trigger guard screw. And my CDI bottom metal came with new action screws.

If you are using the savage bottom metal then you will use the savage screws. But if you don't have them it should be to difficult to replace from a better supply shop or hardware store. I am pretty sure you could always order from savage as well. The cdi bottom metal I believe comes with hardware.

The manners stocks are nice I have one for sale on the savage website.

I just got a new DBM from Jeff at CDI Precision and it comes with it's own action screws (2). Don't forget that he will also inlet the stock for about $60 including return shipping. He and Pam are great to work with.

Manners is doing the inlet. I figured the hardware I needed was going to be supplied, but I did not want to be sitting aroung 16 weeks waiting on my stock, with no hardware to put them together with when it and the BM shows up.
Thanks for the replies.

I too am going with a Manners stock with CDI bottom metal for a 6.5 Creedmoor I am building, so this was helpful. Quick question, I am using the action out of a new 11 package gun with the bottom bolt release, is this compatible with the CDI bottom metal? I hope so, or I bought a gun with an action that I can't use. Thanks for the help.

The cdi comes with extra parts you will not use for the top bolt release, I am almost positive they are for the bottom bolt release.
Call / e-mail CDI , I am almost certain you are good though.

Well CDI got back with me today, they do have somewhat of a fix to bottom bolt release problem. They have a piece that you JB Weld onto the bolt release/sear that stick out a little in the trigger guard. He said it works, but I didn't like the sound of that, so luckily for me, I was able to sell my donor rifle for what I paid for it. I found another donor rifle with the bolt release on the top right so I will be fine.

You will love your Manners. I was lucky during my build that Stockys had the one I needed on hand and it was at my smith's shop in a couple days.
