what media to remove sizing lube

i use a thumblers tumbler for first cleaning, i have read that some people use a vibrating tumbler to remove the sizing lube after sizing. what if any do you guys use.
im using hornady one shot lube if that make any diffrence.

Any corn cob or walnut media in a tumbler works perfect.

I've been using plain untreated corncob I got from Cabela's to remove Imperial sizing wax.

I just rerun it in the corn cob media I used to first polish it. I run it about 2 hours and it comes out perfect. I do not add any case polish to the media the second time.

As others have said, re-tumbling works fine, or alternatively you could just soak them in lacquer thinner for a bit--that fixes them.

I have found that 30 min. vibrating with untreated corncob gets the lube (either Imperial or spray) off fine.

I tumble first in the SS. Then use corn cob cause it doesn't make a red mess on everything like walnut. At least for me anyways YMMV

I use zilla fine crushed walnut lizard bedding, never gets stuck in the flash hole.

I run loaded ammo in the walnut shell tumbler for about 20 minutes and it comes out nice and shiny and completely de-lubed. I, now, have bought a tumbler just for that.

I use spray on lube for the outsides. For inside necks I use motor mica. When I used an oil based lube for inside necks I would put them back into the walnut media vibrator.

Now I SS media tumble with a Thumler's, spray lube & motor mica the inside necks, size, wipe with clean shop rags and continue with the rest of case prep. I like to use the motor mica, and it works well, because there is no wet lube left inside case necks afterwards. By the time I'm all done handling the cases after all the prep the outsides of them are pretty much lube free as far as I can tell.

Right or wrong I don't do a second tumbling since inside necks are lube free. I detect no ill results from this when I use the final ammo. I think the only downside is that wiping each case after sizing takes time. It takes as much time to wipe clean a single case as it does to motor mica one already outside lubed case and size it. I do a thorough wiping, rubbing with clean shop rag. Maybe someday I'll get tired of that and just re-tumble. Right now I'm just tired of re-tumbling.

I give it a quick wash in some detergent water. Rinse it well and set it in a dehydrator for a bit. Then I tumble in corncob media for a final shine.

I've been tumbling with the SS media for 2hrs, dry, then lube, size, trim. Then back into the SS media for 1hr and dry. 2lbs of 308-class brass is about 87pcs.

I drop my sized brass into a small tub with rubbing alcohol. Swish them around and let 'em dry.

I've been using the Hornady One-Shot spray lube for several years now with complete success. I dump a large bunch of cleaned cases in my RCBS tumbler and spray the cases while they're tumbling. Experience will tell you how much to spray. Let them tumble for another couple minutes to spread the lube evenly. I let them dry (about an hour) and then load them into the tubes for my Dillon 650. (One of these days I'll get the case feeder, but the 4-foot clear tubes have worked just fine for a lot of years.)

I like the One-Shot since it does not have to be removed. Really great when loading a few thousand .45ACP for practice and IPSC, or .223 for prairie rats.

For less than 100 cases, I use a microfiber cloth with a dribble of acetone. More effective and faster than a shop rag.

I use rubbing alcohol on a shop towel. Put cases and towel into a cloth bag, and roll 'em around, and they come out clean in no time.
