Need to know what aftermarket mags function reliably with a DPMS LR-308, and what mags have issues.

If you go with Magpul LR PMAGs, they'll work just fine. Good luck finding anything, though.

Completely agree. When I bought my DPMS 308 I had read of a bunch of people having issues with the factory mag, so I sold them and invested in PMags and have had no issues.

I actually DID have issues with the DPMS aluminum mag and switched to PMags. Haven't had a function problem since.

I've been using 2 steel DPMS factory mags (newer 2012 versions) with zero issues. I also bought 4 P-Mags that work just as well.

I havent had any problems with dpms factory mags at all. The 10 rounder or the 19. The pmag works good also.

I never had any problems with my metal mags, but having used PMags and before this mess they used to be only $20.00 + or - and they have ran great.

I have had good experience with ASC mags, which you can find right now. ASC come in 5, 10 and 20 round. I had some problems with my DPMS mags, but did a little dremel work and they work OK now (look online for some guidance). PMAGs are great, but difficult to obtain right now.

love the pmags, cant wait for the 25 rnd pmags in 308...

+1. A friend of mine said "I don't know why didn't they just make a 30 round 308 PMag...". I said a 30 round 308 mag is loonnnggggg. Personally I think the 25 rounders will be nice.
