Has anyone ever done this paint scheme before? I m kicking the idea around about doing this but I want it to look like the one pictured on the Manners Site....needing some guidance on the color layering so I get it right. I plan on buying the stencils but am having trouble laying out the colors...

If you've got pics post me up!

Thanks.

I love that paint scheme too. Here is my attempt:

It really isn't a difficult paint job. Just remember the color you see the LEAST of is the base color that goes on first. Next is the color you see the next least. For that scheme, Brown goes on last, because you see the most of it.

That flectarn scheme is three colors: Khaki, Gray and Brown. My "gray" turned out a very silvery-white. Otherwise, my failure was my stencils. When I cut them out, I thought they were similar, but in retrospect, they weren't.

Spend time looking over the shapes in the picture and copy them. It'll come out great. I'll make another attempt when my paint job looks like ass. Until then, it is what it is.

Thanks turbo! I'll have to give it a go. So you made your own stencils? I assume it was with some sort of stencil creator right? Or am I wrong...
