One of our local dealers has the CZ Precision Trainer in stock... but it's between $800-$900 ... I could buy lots of .22 rf ammo with the difference in price. That said, I do love CZ...hmmmm.
Does it have to have that gawd awful rail saddle on it? i would like to have one and sell one of my Marlin 880SQ's.

I would wonder about that one. I've never heard of two different TRR-SRs and the only one on Savage's site is the normal one with the black textured paint covered wood stock. Maybe it's a modified TRR-SR with an aftermarket stock or an error?
One of those rifles went home with me today, I did not pick at the stock but it looks synthetic to me. The other rifle looked identical.
