Two different AICS AX 10 round .308 mags????

Ok, I tried to search this but didn't find anything. I have an AICS AX chassis on a Rem 700 AAC-SD and ordered a 10 round .308 magazine that the description said it was for a .308 AX AICS. I am trying to plug it in the mag well and it won't fit. It seems like the feed lips are to wide. It's a staggered magazine so, it's short and wide. I went back to Mile High's site and found there are two different AICS AX .308 10 round magazines that say the fit. I noticed two different part numbers. What gives?? Any info you guys have will help. Thanks....

AIAX mags have a little notch on the front/top of the magazine... Which I'd imagine wouldn't let them function in anything other than an AX or AICS-AX.

As far as there being TWO types of AX magazine... I couldn't tell ya'

EDIT: My AX takes AX, AICS and AW makes without a problem...
From MileHighShooting, the only difference I could guess is that one is meant for AX rifles and one is meant for AX AICS Rifles.

Also, what was your rifle set up to run? AW or AICS magazines?

I think they may have given you the wrong mag. Sounds like they gave you an AW mag.
They should of given you an AICS mag which is double stack single feed.

You want part # 6677. It's not listed on the AI website. The AW may not work, which is the one listed on the website.
