OK, Ive got a fireformed 6 Creed case from a 22-250 case,
it now holds 51.5grs H2o, the 250 case holds 45grs H2O.
How does H20 capacity tell me how much powder a cartridge will hold?

It doesn't. You just know the total internal area of the case. I am not familiar with the 6CM so I will ask; is the 22-250 the parent case of the 6CM or can you buy "store bought" 6CM brass somewhere?
Maybe it would be best to ask if someone else is forming cases from 22-250 and what their starting load was. BTW, just curious, what is the advantage of 6CM over 243 Win?

Well, the parent case of the 6 Creed is the 6.5 creed, Hornady says it was developed from the ground up. All you have to do is run 250 brass thru your 6 Creed dies and fireform, thats it. No expert here, but Id say the 6 Creed can push a bullet faster than the 243 while burning less powder.
Yes, you can buy 6 Creed brass from a couple different sources.

Sounds very similar to the 6xc. I am guessing the 6CM has a longer neck than 243 and, hopefully, barrels last longer.
Knowing the internal capacity of a fire formed 6CM would help determine a good place to be fire forming your brass.

Actually, looking at my reamer print and one I found on 6BR, I think it was, the XC's neck is .010" longer. A fired 6CM holds the same amount as the 22-250 foreformed case, 51.5grs H2O

Based on the fact that the fire formed 22-250 case and the 6CM hold the same amount of water would likely tell you only that equal powder charges in either case would produce about equal pressure. Or, at least in my feeble mind it would. I think there is some load data in SH. DId you do a search on 6CM loads?
