Hi everyone. New to The Hide.

I have been looking into AR10s for a while now and I am pretty set on a REPR. I was also set on the 18" configuration but I don't see it on LWRC's website anymore and very rarely on GB. Anyone know if they discontinued that configuration? I want one for intermediate range, general purpose shooting. Anyone have one of these or experience with them? Also, any known quality issues or other input would be great.

Thanks!

As of 2013, 16 and 20 inch barrels are your only choice. I have two, 12.7 and 18... 12.7 is my favorite and wish I had a 16 instead of the 18. The 16 vs 18 velocity difference is marginal and goes unnoticed while the extra weight and length is readily apparent.

Thanks for the reply. I was leaning towards the 16 if the 18 was no longer an option. I knew the velocity change would be marginal but I didn't think really think about the weight difference being so obvious.

They have dropped the 18, as the 16 and 20 offerings pretty well cover the bases.

I have the 20" model and it is sweet. The only barrel lengths available now are 16 & 20 inchers. There are a lot of different configurations and which ever you choose you will be very pleased.

For what do you intend to use the rifle? CQB or intermediate/long range precision? If the latter then there are much better options.

Pm'ed ya!. 18 in is a great length I am kind of bummed they quit making it.

Same experience here. I picked up a 20" about 6 months ago and it does not dissappoint. You can't go wrong with which ever barrel length you decide on.
