.308 + Ramshot Tac or H4895 = Good ?

After looking high and low, its obvious Varget is a no go for at least 6 months to a year. I have had 8lbs backordered through Brownells since November 2012.

I do have enough H4895 or some Tac to get me by.

In comparing burn rates it appears both are faster then varget with H4895 having better temp stabillity

Has anyone had good results with either behind a 175'er ?

H4895 would be my choice but either will work.

H-4895 would also be my first choice.

I've used H4895 with 175s but my gun seems to like it behind 168s.

Between the two, H-4895 would be my 1st choice but the Tac will work well too.

Since I'm spiting them out of a 18" tube maybe a faster powder like H4895 may be the ticket anyways!
