Rifle Scopes what moa base do I need??

Im building a 260 and a 338 lapua.. im thinking 30 moa on the 260 and not sure about 30 or 40 on the 338...? Im looking at streching them both as far as I can... the 338 out to a mile.... whats my advice?? Im using american rifle company one piece base and rings...

What optic are you using? How much elevation travel does it have?

You only have PART of the equation (i.e. - caliber, anticipated max ranges, etc.).

How much cant you NEED on your base must be determined also by the total amount of internal adjustment in your optic(s) and the specific loads you'll be running from each caliber.

Oh very true I shoulda included that huh... as far as I can go with the load I guess is a 140gr bergers for the 260 and 300 gr bergers for the 338...

Both will have schmidt and bender pm2s prolly or something along those lines...
