Does Sako make a black folding stock? Or is it possible to get a tan/green folder, paint it and put it on a black trg22?

Thanks Patrick,

It really works for my area, IE, the Rocky Mountain West. The factory brown stock and grey phosphate metal are about ideal. :)

Sako doesn't make it in "Black" !!!

But as you says, YES, it's possible to get one, paint it and put it on a black TRG22 ;-)

My try

Thanks to people's advice here and a good deal here is my trg I picked up this week.

Here are a few pics of my TRG after Mark at Short Action Customs got ahold of it! New Bartlein 6.5 Creedmoor tube.

First 3 out of the gun

I think you have a winner there Patrick.

I have to wonder how that barrel will shoot once it is broken in and the groups tighten up..

(drips with sarcasm).. :)

Mine is over at SAC for the same rebarrel right now as we speak. Just waiting for the KRG parts to come in so he can install them!

De,
You're going to love it! Mark does fantastic work and he kept me updated throughout the whole process. Keep us informed and post some pics when he gets it back to you.

Here is one I just chambered in 6XC. 26'' Bartlein Remington Varmint contour with Patriot Brown Cerakote.

anyone hear anything about the TRG M10 release to the public? and cost of the system?

Big + 1 on this! I love the idea of this platform and wish they would make it available to the citizen market especially since they lost in the contract race recently

You just run a really long M6 screw through the middle hole of the plate through the forend and into the threaded aluminum block. It's pretty easy if you can find the screw. We had found a phillips pan head screw that worked, we may have had to grind it down a bit, I can't remember.

Does anyone here use their TRG for hunting or are they too heavy?

Was it an existing hole or do I need to drill it?

The QD adapter plate has a hole in the center where the screw goes into the camera body, you remove that screw of course. You run the new longer screw through the rearward hole for the screw that holds the TRG forend in place. Of course you'll need to remove this screw. Inside of the "backbone" are little aluminum blocks that slide in the rails of the backbone. These have a threaded hole, you run the longer screw into the threaded hole on this block, the screw needs to be long enough to protrude up through the backbone a bit but not so far as to touch the barrel. The backbone is the long black aluminum piece that the action sits in. It will help to remove the action and forend to see what I'm talking about, after that it's easy.
Justin

I heard that maybe next year but the price with three barrels in PL would be around 75k pln which is absolutely out of space. 1usd = 3,2pln.

Here is what I Play with on my lunch break

Hi guys
Congrats on all your pics, TRG's are tack drivers. I also own a TRG 22 .308 and I recently ordered a 42 from Eurooptic in .338LM Cerakote RAL8000.
Anyone got a cerakoted 42 and if yes, how is it working for you?
I notice a bunch of you use cheek pads. For years, I use Camo Form wraps, as I had a bunch available, good for slippery cheek weld on hot days in the desert. As I am running out of it, it is time to consider a more convenient solution.
What do you use, Tac Ops?
Thanks and good shooting to all.

Love this gun!
Having lived in Finland for a few years I feel like I get to bring a bit back with me now that I just ordered mine ;)
But whats up with everyone keeping the stocks so pristine?!
Where are the paint/dip jobs? just do a simple image search on google for the TRG and its like 99:1 stock color: paint job.
Soon as mine comes I think I am taking it to get an ATACS dip (havent decided AU or FG).
Any of you guys got any?
