Thinking about putting another rifle togather, and I am wanting to try either a .260, or 6.5 Creedmoor. I assume since the .260 is based from the .308 it'll feed just fine from unmodded magazines, but what about the 6.5 Creedmoor? I'd hate to get everything, and bolt it in a chassis, only to find out that there are feeding issues, to be dealt with.

6.5 creed is my next build on a fn action in a McRee chassis and this is my question as well anyone else have this set up?
No problems for me. Surgeon DBM, 5 and 10 round AI mags feeding factory 140 Amaxs.
Thank you Gentlemen. joemusso, I guess that would also explain why the .260 and 6.5CM are so close ballistically as well, for some reason I was thinking the Creedmoor had a different parent cartridge.
steveptr, I believe the McRee uses AI type magazines so it should work. Though its my understanding that sometimes the Win M70/FN actions need some modification to work with the DBM itself.

I'm aware of the mod just wondering if any one is running a fn/win mod70 in 65
My 6 Creed does.
Both mine feed great with the AI mags.
