I live in Phoenix and have dealt with both POF and Hogan ,they both have had problems . In the end they will make you happy ,just hang in there .
HA HA HA...no hurt feelings here but I can't help but be amused at your plug for JP. Why? The topic could be about traditional recurve bows and you'd come up with a reason why JP should be considered if only to be used as a boat oar.
In response to your shameless bullshit, there are THOUSANDS of POF owners who haven't had a single issue with their rifles. The POF I have now is my second and I've not had a single issue, and many others could say the same for their own.
As it was said in a other topic, POF was chosen over a half dozen other rifles for the California Fish & Game and only after going through a week long torture test in a variety of different environmental scenarios and going through over 5,000rds. It should be noted that JP didn't even make the list for rifles considered.
I have been on this forum for a long time now, not once have I took a personal shot at anyone before. It is pretty bad when someone can't voice their opinion without someone else saying something bad to them. Killshot took this personal, I was only saying the truth, POF rifles have many problems with them. You would have one helluva time trying to find anything bad about JP, so I am only telling the truth. The problem here is people cannot stand to have anyone say anything bad about the gun they have. Yes all manufactures put out a bad one once in a while, we are only human but we all should be able to voice are opinion.

Ha ha ha...I wasn't implying that POF is the best or anything to that effect. The point I was making was that you never pass up a chance to bash other brands while touting your as being the best, in so many words. I believe POF to be a damn fine piece of hardware but I can also admit they've had problems and some of which seem to be a recurring issue but that doesn't mean POF a a whole isn't worth the price. Believe you me, I can certainly understand being pissed off after having paid thousands of dollars for something to work properly right out of the box and only to be plagued with problems.
I agree that everyone should be, and is, allowed to voice their opinions and experiences but to trash another build while pushing your own is in poor taste. Nowhere will you find on this board that I have trashed ANY manufacturer. In fact, the only brand I've been vocally critical of is KAC on the high prices some of their rifles command.
I am not oblivious to the fact that POF has its share of problems, both past and present. What got under my skin was the shameless plug for JP. I say "shameless" because I felt it was in poor taste to jump in on a topic, adding nothing of value while plugging your brand of preference and insinuating that the brand mentioned is junk.
I offer you my apology for coming across as attacking you in my previous posts because that wasn't my intention.
I apologize myself, No excuse but last night was a very bad night my boss and myself had it out and I was pretty hot at the time. I have always liked POF myself just knew that they were having issues. Nothin but love for this forum and the people in it.
