Midway has a lot of Hornady Blems at the moment.

That's not what I wanted to hear. I just got 500 in today. What powder were you using?

That's exactly where I'm at. I use 44.5 grains to push a 178gr amax and it's around 1/2moa or less. Was hoping to get the same results with these. Oh well, they could be good practice bullets.

Yep, I just ordered 500 of the 178s. I thought I would try then in my M1A. Nothing precision so I figured I couldn't go too wrong with the blems for blasting.

May as well use cast bullets if they groups 2-3"

Just got some of the 285 gr bthp's. They look good, but I'll have to measure/weight them.
