Central ar here do all my shooting out of bald knob at V.E.T.S shooting center u guys should check out there site or even stop by if your in the area. Matt
 
I just moved out of lr area. Join the benton gun club, look them up on the e net. Very nice people and a great place to warm a barrel. The have a 600yrd range on site also.

SW Arkansas here, always looking for places to shoot! Would love to see some kind of precision rifle match somewhere! Centerfire and especially rimfire!

We have bench rest completion here in Hot Springs at Rimfire Ridge starts back up in march. PM me so we can talk about it. IR50/50 in De Queen they shoot ARA Center fire I here there is a shoot around Bald Knob. Ar. Now that I went back a read the threads it is called V.E.T.S. for center fire.

What shoot is that in DeQueen? I live about 30 minutes from there would love more info! I'd really like to start a long range/tactical match there or around DeQueen. Something with barricades, bipods and steel targets!

Call Al at Riverside Machinery in De Queen he can tell you everything about it he is the owner. Its a bench rest 22 lr comp. Shot in a chicken house at 50 yards. Look up ARA at at Benchrest Central forum. PM me I will call you.

Yes I know the place! I'll give him a call or swing by and talk to him about it. Only thing I worry about is my gun isn't a bench gun for sure. I'd still like to see how it'd do!

plan on shooting at ridgerunner range once i get unpacked

Little rock area i would ck out VETS range

There aren’t a lot of great places to go. The Rogers Gun Club is the best I’ve found. If you aren’t a member it takes about a year to get membership due to the waiting list. Even then you are limited to 200 yards but it’s good for pistol and getting rifles set up.

We used to have a nice 1000yd range nearby but they’ve closed it down. I end up shooting at a friend’s property more times than not.

I'm in Rogers too... Not that many places to shoot any distance... But I have talked to the owner of Benton County Gunworks and he is putting together a range that will go out to 800 +\-... It'll be near War Eagle... I'll try to report back when I have more info...

Also, you should look into DR Long Range Concepts (if you haven't already)... They are in a good spot to start growing the discipline in their end! Great group of instructors!
 
Im a member at RGC and have been to LR 1/2 and the carbine course at DR. Maybe we should just do a little shoot at the gun club to get acquainted.

I know there is a guy in Huntsville that has a range, maybe we could engage him about going a Hide range day.

That could be fun if we could get something going. I’d enjoy getting to shoot at some longer ranges again. Limited to about 500 where I am now.
 
I’m in Rogers- how close is your range. I’ve got quite a bit of steel including some .22 stuff (KYL, hostage, smaller targets). Would love to meet up and do some .22 stuff!
 
Hey guys I'm in the river valley area and have the NRL22 targets. We had one match early last year up around NWA. We had trouble with finding a place to shoot the match. If anyone is interested in starting an NRL match here in AR please let me know! I'd love to get something going with NRL here.
