She let me have two! LOL
Just wanted to let my sniper's hide brethren know it pays to randomly stop by every lgs you drive by.
Alright back to southbound and hammer'd down......only 340 miles to roll.

And we wonder why there is no powder available.

WTF is that supposed to mean?

Demolitionman: Nice grab, that'll take you most of the way your first barrel on your 6.5.

Once I find a suitable load for my rifles, I buy enough components to shoot the barrel out.

I winked at a cashier one time and got a restraining order.

Of course it was 2am, I was looking through her bedroom window, and had my pecker in my hand... but she didn't know that. It was below her sight line. And dark. And, honestly, I'm not well hung. Like a lightswitch comes to mind.

Anyway, yeah, some people can't take a compliment. I'm glad your experience with a cashier went better.

see the 500lbs in my closet and you will not wonder, but it will not be long until it is way down

If that's a lot of powder to you, you've already identified the cause of your powder supply issues.

The quantity in the OP doesn't even qualify as my "zero powder on hand" buffer quantity prior to Clinton being in office let alone the garbage that's occurred since '94.

Can we skype ill grawl/moan and wink at you...do i get to keep one:) hawaii is paradise.only to tourist not for us shooter/hunter you can never find reloading crap here lol

I'm just glad I can stop using hv100 because for some reason that stuff leaves my case necks (inside and out) filthy compared to h4350....

Lol You need to get out and shoot more. 16lbs is not much ammo at all.

It was mainly tongue-in-cheek. I'm happy for him, but I wouldn't be surprised if the next time he needs primers, the guy before him in the LGS gives a wink to the cashier and gets the last brick. I'm just saying it works both ways.

OK, I've seen this multiple times and can't figure it out.
What store is LGS?
I'm thinking we don't have them in CO

Local

?

Surprised you don't have any in Colorado. Must be your new legislature;-)

Thank God the mystery is solved...that had been bugging me, and I'm usually pretty good at figuring out acronyms.

No shit on the CO legislature! Although I did just receive my 10 mags from Magpul last week ;)

OK...back to the regularly scheduled thread.

For your neighbor's sake, I hope you do not ever have a house fire, but if you do I hope it coincides with the 4th of July.

That may seem like a lot of powder to some people, but if you shoot competitively it's good for about a season or two.
I use RE 17, which is fairly close in burn rate, and I would get about 2,350 rds out of .308 that. In other words, there is not a darn thing wrong with scooping up all the powder you can afford, especially in times like these. Good on ya Demolitionman!

I rolled into another LGS and came across some go go juice for my 120Amax's, seeing as I only have 3/4lb I once again; WINKED AT THE CASHIER and left a dollar tip on the counter. Here is what being friendly does for ya:

Just to be clear....that cashier is a girl, right? :p

Yeh a hot one at that! One of those slice-of Americana type of girl....curly hair, warm smile, with a nice -not too rounded not to thin build. Yeh she's a looker. Hell by the time she rung it up another one come over and chatted for a bit. Hehehe I'm on a roll; literally headed northbound.
