Alien races living on earth in 2046. I've got it set to record. I've liked science fiction since I was a little kid. Old habits die hard. Hopefully it will be decent

I posted because I almost forgot it was on tonight. There are a number of us that enjoy good Scifi and this looks like it has some promise.

The aliens are people who are redheads with red eyes, pale white people, pale bald people, and huge pale bald guys. Then there was this alien robot horde that was gonna attack the town but the good guy made a weapon out a glowing blue soccer ball. I think think. It's cheesy but kinda cool, like some of the terrible shows I'd watch when I was a kid.

The game is fun as well.

So far (1st episode) I kinda like it. Lots of action and a pretty good story that isn't totally predictable, the acting is very good considering it's syfy.

Watch the premier, it was interesting. Different aliens/culture should give a lot of possibility to the story. The making of Defiance show made me wonder how much it cost to produce and how long do they have to gather the following to make it viable.
Maybe the gamer side of this production will provide an additional boost to the budget.

I generally enjoy the sci-fi genre, but this is total crap. Awful special-effects, B-movie acting skills and generally stupid story.

Made it through 1 and a half episodes before I could stand no more.

Wish I had extra hands so I could give this series 4 thumbs down.

Diversity drama, species/races playing the culture clash card with token action interludes. Total Chick Flick Mentality, all about personalities and relationships. Heavy on the weird stuff, lighter on the brain tease. I'm watching it because it's new, but it's never gonna replace Castle in that timeslot for me. Hating it along with stuff like Warehouse 13, Psych, Burn Notice, and Necessary Roughness. Think of it as Bab5 with dumbed down writing and neutered action. I like Sci-Fi, but this stuff is something else...
