Geissele SD-3GS review

Saw that one last night scrolling through Facebook, liked the article and didn't realize who the author was; great article and review Joe. I'm definitely going with that trigger for my new 3-Gun build to enter into that sport, just wondering about flat versus curved in the design. I've shot all curved triggers to date including pistol (G19/M9 mostly), so I'm wondering what the benefit would be for someone like me to switch over? Dropping $260 on a test run is a bit steep going in blind and all, so I'd appreciate any advice on it. Thanks!

the feel for me is more about shooting with gloves, on 1911's it means the same trigger squeeze no matter where i place my trigger finger, i have the timney flat trigger on most of my bolt guns too. Its a diferent feel, some people like it, some don't. I have yet to have someone shoot my carbines that have timney flats in em and complain. if you don't like it you will probably get most of your money out of it on resale.

I put an S3G in an AR15 recently and put a couple hundred rounds through it. I couldn't get used to it, it bumpfired too easily and I didn't know when it was going to drop the hammer. I replaced it with an SD-E, which is a great trigger for me. I thought I'd love the S3G, but didn't.

I do like the flat trigger face.

I feel the same way as red sc. I have both the 3g and an sde and i prefer the sde because it has a more predictable break in the trigger. The 3g is still really nice i just have my preference like everyone else.

I don't like two stage for carbine work, I have 2 of each of their flat bladed triggers they have their uses
