Suppressors Suppressing the DTA HTI rifle in .50BMG and .375CT, ideas?

Just ordered the HTI chassis the other day. Plan on getting the .50 barrel first, then the .375 later next year. Now DTA installs brakes on these barrels that all have the same threads, and the idea was they were to make a suppressor that threads over the brake. But it is now a year and a half away they say. Removing the brake gives two different barrel threads, M25x something for the .50 and M22x something for the .375. So I suppose I'll probably need two different suppressors for these two barrels, at least I imagine it will work better that way.

I'm really not too interested in QD suppressors, it seems the best accuracy is achieved through direct thread on cans, and since these are both extended long range rifles in calibers I won't likely purchase again, dedicating them is no problem and is actually an attribute the way I see it.

So who would you recommend? Any ideas for quality .50BMG suppressors that work well and can be threaded to metric barrel threads? What about .375?

I've looked at Quicksilver (but their titanium model weighs almost as much as most steel ones, not worth the extra price) Elite Iron, and perused a couple others. AWC's Turbodyne X may be the one I choose in .50 unless there are objections here. AWC said they can fit it and claim it is as quiet as a .22lr unsuppressed (which makes sense, my SDN6 sounds a lot like that with most supersonic ammo 5.56 and up).

Check out Elite Iron, they make a great suppressor for both the 50 and 375.

AAC hasn't had the best reputation lately for customer service but they make pretty good cans. Here is an option for you: CYCLOPS™

Yeah, I have an SDN6. I'm not fond of their QD method and don't want a QD can at all for something I plan on shooting out to a mile. Their brake also won't fit the threads on these barrels (I didn't call to check if they'd cut 'em, but when I called 'em to cut threads for a rifle for the QD brake for the SDN6 a while back, they wouldn't do it).

I may give Elite another look. Anyone use the AWC? I know folks on here have these rifles suppressed, how'd you do it and what were the results?

i have the DTA can for .338. It's quite, minimal POI shift and it actually improves accuracy. hopefully they will have the big can out sooner, because they make them right.

Well, I got some info about the DTA can but I can't talk about it. All I can say is that yes, if they do in fact make it through who they'd like, and concede some design attributes to the maker if need be, then it will likely be a nice one. On the other hand, I'd be wary of getting one if their first choice of manufacture doesn't work out (which would indicate they maybe put form before function).

Hint: I'll be going with Elite Iron on this rifle for sure. Lots of folks recommended him for this rifle too, including DTA. After talking to the guy, it is just obvious that he has the same kind of attitude towards making shit that I do. He's real straight up, doesn't claim his .50 can is quieter than a .22. Aims for accuracy, which is the whole goal here. Hell, if he's good enough for David Tubb, he's good enough for me. Oh, and he's one of the few that have made suppressors for this rifle already, with its funky metric threads.

I don't think the Ops Inc will work. That one requires 12" of barrel for the suppressor to slide over. I don't think I'll have that much on the HTI.

    Thanks for the ideas!
