Well I have decided to put together a new spr for fun and 3-gun matches. Here is the parts list
    Seekins lower
    Seekins .223 upper
    Seekins mcsr 15" rail
Rainier arms ultramatch 18" intermediate barrel
    Ym bolt carrier nicb coated
    Surefire brake/adapter
    Ssa-e trigger
    Psa lower parts kit
    Jp safety
    Ubr stock
    Troy battle sights in fde

I would like opinions about which optics to use...
I have a ior valdada 1.5-8x26 trident and a aimpoint m4s with vortex 3x magnifier.
Which one of these systems would you guys run? And why?

Awesome build sheet, looks like you've done your homework! It should be a tack driver. I'd use the IOR scope. That rig is plenty capable of stretching the legs of the 8x top end. I've been looking at the trident on paper, haven't looked through one yet, but the specs look great. I've got the regular Rainier Match SS barrel in 16" and it rocks, you'll be happy with the ultra for sure. The SSA-E is seriously the sweetest trigger I've ever used.

Thanks! i'm looking forward to getting it put together. I'll post pics of the gun and groups when i get finished.

I prefer the SD3 trigger for a three gun and fun match, but that's personal preference.

And personally I don't like magnifiers. While you won't be using it for combat use, it does greatly restrict the FOV more so than a 1.5-8 would.
So I'd say the IOR. Looks like a sweet rifle though so good luck in the process and get some pictures for us!
