Deep sigh...... Finally finished a big push to get a couple of jobs out of here before the holiday. Happy with the way they shot and wanted to share.

Here is a part of a group of SENTINEL .308s going to SWAT in the North West.

And here is a group of LongSword .338 LMs going out of country.

All are packed and headed out. Going to get caught up on some admin/office work now and take a break.

Everyone have a safe Memorial Day holiday and for goodness sakes, remember our brothers and sisters that serve our country and the sacrifices of those before them.
No wind,
Terry

Beautiful work! At this point I can only dream of owning something so well crafted. But dreaming is good too. In the meantime, I'll keep shooting and enjoy what I do have.

From what I've heard you've been pretty darn busy so a little R&R is overdue. Enjoy it.

Are those manners stocks? They look awesome!

Nope. That's a stock design that is by Mr. Cross. I *think* McMillan makes it for him. It's called the Sentinel.

A Terry Cross Sentinel and a TacOps rifle are on my bucket list of rifles to own.

Sweet baby jesus that's a lot of great looking rifles - lots of customers about to be real happy.

Sent you a PM about a question not related to this thread

Thanks guys. Actually just 2 happy customers. One group going to one place and the other headed in another direction.
That is not really other stocks and rifles in the photo. It's just some custom wall paper I had done up to make my shop look busy. :)

Hey Ritten, I hope to come shoot with you and the Palo Alto bunch again soon. Haven't forgot about you guys or gotten snooty, just no time to break loose.

Terry,

I was just about to send you my specs so that you could order me one of thoses fantastic stocks!

Is that the McMillan camo?

Keep up the good work!

Clay

Clay, Yeah the .308s are sitting in the molded in McCamo MultiCam colors.

Jason, the 308s are threaded 5/8-24 and I used AAC (I don't remember how many teeth) flash hider style adapters for thread protectors. I don't do the hidden thread caps anymore for good reason. The Lapuas do have the SureFire .338MB adapters. I have had really good luck with that brake on the .300 Win Mags and various .338s. I am not a fan of brakes but will be the first to admit they are have their place and are welcome on the heavies.

I would LOVE to see that same pattern of stock used on an M1/M14 Platform. Maybe its just me, but i think it would look badass.

I agree but it wouldn't work without lots of mods and then it really wouldn't be the same stock.
I wanted to meet several different goals with the stock design. One was to have a very low CG and a slim Z-axis forend. These stocks have a very low profile fore end, even slightly lower than the A5 and T series.

With the main gas bleed, op rod, etc. that needs to run under the barrel of the M1A/M14s the forend would have to grow a bunch height to accomodate it. Mods around the center bottom to allow for the trigger guard to cam in and lock, etc. would also require a new mold to allow proper support and clearance. Might could be done with a dedicated mold and still keep the same basic ideas in place.

T. Cross those are some badass sticks. Love my Long Sword partner. They are a work of art my friend, Jag.

Terry,

Another of your rifles was birthing babies today in a different way. This was the first time I took my boys while shooting long range, although they go to the pistol range with me regularly.
