I am relatively new to reloading and just finished resizing/depriming my first batch of 223 cases. Some of the cases came out of the die with an indention just below the shoulder. I would also feel what I describe as binding during the resizing cycle. Has anyone had this problem?

What lube are you using? The most effective lube in my opinion is imperial sizing wax. The easiest to apply however, is the hornady one shot lube or other forms of liquid lube.

Air tool oil. I know it's not meant for reloading, but it was on hand and actually seemed to work quite well.

If you can't get Imperial go to Walmart and look in the shoe section for a tin of mink oil, works the same and cheap. The kind you need is a waxy concoction in a flat metal can like Kiwi shoe polish comes in.

I like the Dillon spray lube. It is lanolin and alcohol.

But you can apply too much and get lube dents.

Not a huge deal, they fire form out. :)
