I have a .264 lbc barrel I'm using on a build and I'm wondering how the brake will effect accuracy. I'm curious because it has a real nice target crown on it. Will this crown be rendered useless with the brake installed?

I have the Surefire break on two of my .223 rifles, one that's crowned and the accuracy was not affected in the least. Running the SF Suppressor also did not affect the accuracy, it did change the POI using the suppressor though, but not by much.

There's a gap and it shouldn't affect accuracy, but after 700+ or so rounds I would check the crown periodically as they sometimes build up a false crown that needs cleaned.

Will do. What that glue they send with the brake? Does it break free easily or will I have to heat it up?

It's believe it's normal rock-set and it breaks free easy enough with just a wrench. The fun part is the shims and timing it right... lol
