Rifle Scopes Best 4.5-14x40mm Scope for 650-750$?

mark 4 is the only thing that comes to mind in a 4.5-14x40. but im guessing youre not looking for exactly those specs, just in that ball park. im sure theres a million threads on this topic but check out the vortex in that mag range. probably youre best bet.

If you want close to the MK4 then scour the net for a VX3 or VarixIII miltdol long range in the same config. You can find some with M1 knobs, M3 etc as guys have sent them into the custom shop. A new 30mm CDS VX3 is about $575 from camerlandny, but it has a duplex reticle.

The Weaver Tactical line has 3 different 3-15x50 scopes in that general price range. I have the #800363, which is a mil-mil variant, and I like it a lot. Very, very nice glass, dead-straight tracking, and I really like the locking (pop up to adjust) turret design. There's also a $100 rebate on Weaver Tacticals right now. My only small issue is that the alignment between turret marks and the marks on the body don't _quite_ perfectly align. It's still not tough to tell what mark you're on, but I know that even a small misalignment is a big deal to some users.

Just save a little longer and stick with the Mark 4, it's definitely worth it. I know some people don't care for Leupold but other than Nightforce it is the only other scope I will run. About to send mine in for the M5 knob conversion as the target knobs are in MOA.

I second this suggestion.
