Well the pre race show is now without armed forces fly overs. I feel like its total bull shit we still allow our pilots to train why not just incorporate the fly over into training and call it good. Can our military planners not make that happen? Realy?

its a nock on conservative voters who Obummer knows attend these events blue collar hard working people that make the country work by insuring the food we eat is grown, distributed and sold when we need it where we want it.

Think what kind of shape we would be in if food was as hard to find as .22LR ammo is today.

The Fly overs were great I always look forward to them both at the track and on TV. its absurd not to have them and a total
stab at what is left of this great nation.

I will be the first to say NASCAR aint what it used to be its now governed by big buisness that are to afraid of their next lawsuit to not be a Politicaly correct as possible.

Wow. I think the OP is gonna fly up and over the side of a banked curve and halfway up into the hopefully empty stands at this rate.

Are you for certain? I was driving by TMS the other day when they had a race. I saw some parachute ppl and a flight of four aircraft. They looked to be Trojan Flyers in their T-28's. Granted it ain't active/guard military, but it is a military aircraft.

FYI... A lot of air shows have been canceled due to budget cuts. Yes, it has a relevance to this topic.

All the USN Blue Angles shows have been canceled. The USAF Thunderbirds show schedule is blank. What happened to this recruiting tool?

hollywood, everybody wanted to be Tom Cruise in TOPGUN...

This is a totally bummer though, my kids are young but they are just reaching that age (especially my son who is 2) where they would REALLY like an air show. We only have them every two years here at Luke AFB in Phoenix, and was hoping to take them...if the main attraction cant fly in it, whats the point?

Sequestration, deliberately tailored to stick it to the taxpayer. If you want government spending to decrease, there is a cost. This is the part you are orchestrated see. Actually, be glad it's more the show and tell part, and not so much the backbone part. It's dumb, but it could be dumber.
