Money sent Miker! looking forward to what you have in store and see some familiar faces!

Hell yeah, I'm in. Miker, it'll go out Monday in the mail. Is there a packing list or required gear? Besides rifle, ammo and man thong?

I've found that sucking up to the match director does no good. He will tell you nothing, if you think you can use it or will need it, pack it.

I'd say a bit of both!!!!

If you've noticed, I don't even try anymore.. I pack my gear and follow...

and from the one match i shot, following may not even work!
BTW if you haven't shot a miker match your missing out.
dont forget if you pack it your taking it with you.....EVERYWHERE!

O ya how could i have forgot that.
and dont forget about the stretcher. i'm a little scared to do the solo match, i had to stand on my partners shoulders to shoot
off the top of the barricade, i dont even want to know what he will have me doing without a partner?

Money order is on its way. Looking forward to trying out Miker's competition. It sounds like fun.

Miker, can you give me a call please? I'm sending a PM with my number in case you don't still have it. I have some potential sponsor info and want to make sure I get them onto the T-shirt and event.

Hmm.. Going to do my best to come to this. Checking the schedule now. Thank god you switched to MO Miker, Now I dont have to worry about you not cashing my check for 6 months. hahahah :)

Guys this is a great match and lots of good people so dont hesitate to get in. Hell, the comedic relief and ribbing throughout the match is alone worth the entry fee.

Just preparing for this match and trying to plan out gear selection and was wondering if any of you more experienced shooters could provide some advice/Info. Especially if you have shot some of Miker's previous matches.

I know of the requirement to carry everything with you throughout the match. But, would that include lunch also? Or is there a break to grab a bite back at your cars? I'm sure this sounds dumb, but it would make a big difference in how to pack.

I am trying to decide whether to use an Eberlestock pack or something much smaller (camelback mule) combined with numerous pouches on an H-harness. Just seems like the Eberlestock would be big to have to wear while shooting and moving through/around obstacles.

Thanks for any advice - just trying to learn as much as I can before the match. See you in August.

Eberlestock.is a bit big imo a backpack should be plenty. Youll switch places working pit and shooting for half day which is usually around lunch. i still pack some food.

I ran my Eberlestock Gunslinger last match in the spring. A few other guys had these style bags also. Several people had vests and several people had belts and a small pack.

I have recently put together a battle belt setup with an H harness and a camel back specifically because I did not want to lug the Eberlestock bag around. Typically the matches switch in the middle for the other group to go to the pits. There should be time to grab a bite then. I would recommend your camel back setup, and maybe a snack or two, rather than the pack. The matches are pretty physically demanding on certain stages.

I would like to but was not aware that we could confirm dope on Friday.
Will the range be available and if so what time.
