Rifle Scopes Scope question - 308/300wm

So, I've been a Leupold guy forever but, need some advice in regards to scopes...Brand doesn't really matter at this point, I'd just like good glass.

I have 2 rifles atm and a 3rd in progress.

AR10 SASS w/ a Leupold Mk 4 6.5-20x50 Illum Mil
Savage 308 w/a Leupold Mk 4 8.5-25x50 LR/T Mil
Stiller 300wm - In progress

I live in CT and right now, I can't take the AR anywhere to stretch it's legs...In fact, best range locally is 400yds and that's a hike...Can't bring it to NY, MA, RI etc. I just got really good news back from the Bench-Rest 1000 in PA and...Now, within 6 hours, there's a 1k range that's doable.

Thinking about swapping the glass around -- Going to move the 6.5 to the Savage -- The 8.5 to the 300wm so, looking for a new, HQ, mid-range scope for the AR...LR capable.

Open to really any suggestions, been looking at some of the Nightforce scopes lately and willing to switch for the right glass.

If there's also a better suggestion for the 300wm, I'll take a gander at it!

I've been looking at the new Leupold Mark 6, either the 1-6x or 3-18x would be great on an AR I would imagine.

Yeah, that's what I'm leaning towards, as well...Was checking out the Mark 8's too...Some good stuff in there.

Hey Masked, I live in Ct. As well. What range do you go to to get 400yds. I have to do that privately. Contact me via pm, If we were to be at a range at the same time I may be able to help you with this, though I don't get to shoot that often. I have a Nightforce 5.5x22x56 that you could check out to see if you like them. I bought the NF for my own 300win mag bolt gun, just haven't mounted it or even shot it yet. Thanks, steven
