Hey guys, the 2.0 long action AICS can take up to .250 lugs, both the PTG and Holland are exactly .250 has anyone dropped one or the other into AICS without any milling? Dont have the lugs on hand to measure and dont want to mill the stock if they dont fit for some crazy reason.

I should get mine in the mail tomorrow or Sat (I hope!) and I have a .25" lug. I'll let you know. I'm sure I am going to have to grind down a little for the trigger/safety.

10fp, It fits! I have a PTG lug and it is .250". The gap in the frame is .255" wide. It's a nice tight fit.

Now I have to grind out a portion for the jewel trigger :(

Yes, for the external safety linkage to work. If you have the version with no safety then it shouldn't be an issue, otherwise you will need to grind/file/mill out a portion of the chassis. (not visible when it is re-assembled. I just did mine by hand today, kind of a pain but I don't like to wait.

I've used two Holland recoil lugs on the AICS and have had to shorten the lug because it would bottom out in the lug cutout on the chassis.

Just curious. Did you installed the lug on the barreled action to see if the lug bottoms out before the action does or did you just slip the lug into the cutout to check?

With the barreled action installed (screwed down) using a PTG (or factory) lug there is about 1/8" - 3/16" gap between the bottom of the lug and the chassis.
