'Makin Bacon' & 'Lady Back Ribs'

So, I caught this guy 'porkin' the new girl in the walk-in cooler. Typical, they often think they can have a quickie on the clock... It's standard procedure for both parties to be fired on the spot. These two were fired on the spit instead.

This one was caught with a mouthful of loin... I don't understand, she wasn't even pretty... Could see her ribs she was so skinny. He ended up with food poisoning and a twisted form of VD.

Fun with food...

I used to go to a business that sold animals, and animal parts to labs for dissection, and other work. They had huge tanks filled with various animals in formaldehyde. The weird looking things the people who worked there would put together with pins were really creepy...and creative. Things like tiny pig fetuses with large cows eyeballs, and all sorts of other things to remember at 2am when you are trying to sleep.

This was a tragic story... A while back I was making a batch of lightly fried tempura trout to run as a dinner special. Well, after filleting all the fish one turned its head and looked at me. I thought I was daydreaming, this couldn't be real (I said to myself). After further inspection I realized that this was no dream. He needed help, so I bandaged him up to save this little miracle. The wrapped gauze wrapped saved him. The rest of the kitchen crew was eager to meet him. From that point on he was named Fish Stick, he spent the evening watching dinner service.

Every time a guest ordered the special he stared at me instead of the food. He didn't want to see his old school of friends fried crispy and delicious looking on the plate. I should've known this would make a turn for the worse. At the end of the night I made the same special for the waitstaff. They gathered around Fish Stick to eat and put out his own plate hoping that he would join us. Although reluctant he did; he ate his own kind and they made a toast in his honor. "To Fish Stick, we welcome you to our end of the food chain and aboard our new staff" After eating, Fish Stick gestured that he was still hungry by holding his mouth open. So, I took a portion of another staff's plate and offered him more. He turned toward me instead and lunged...

He was fast, took a chunk out of my finger. He then leapt off the table and ran into the chemical storage room.... Nowhere to be found. We figured he would turn up eventually.

Two days later a server took this picture... He had moved into the dry foods room where 3 cans of sardines had been ripped open and eaten. By the the rest of us got there he was gone, never to be seen again. He will be forever remembered as Zombie Fish Stick...

No, not bored. Kitchen life is just full of crude humor and amusements.
