This rifle has been a work in progress for a few months. It's going to be my patrol rifle for work. The only things I intend to add in the future are an Aimpoint T-1 Micro, a sling and some kind of light. Here are the specs:

Noveske Gen 2 Lower
Noveske NSR 13.5" Rail
Noveske QD End Plate
ARP 16" lightweight profile barrel chambered for .223 Wylde (1 in 8 twist)
Vltor Gas Block
Vltor Receiver Extension
BCM Mod 0 compensator
BCM Mod 1 grip
BCM BCG
BCM Gunfighter Ambi Charging Handle
B.A.D.A.S.S. Ambi Safety Selector
Troy Ambi Mag Release
Troy Folding Front Sight
Troy Folding Di-Optic Rear Sight
Wilson Combat TTU LEO/MIL Trigger
Magpul STR Stock
Sprinco Spring
Carbine Buffer
Weight: 6.75lbs unloaded

Nice rig! Good to see some ARP fans around.

My first AR was a 6.8. I have an ARP super bolt in that gun. I've read great things about his barrels, so I decided to give it a shot in this rifle.

Nice rifle. Seems to nice and expensive for something that you could lose if you get in to an officer involved shooting. At the very least you won't have it for a while, if you get it back.

Yeah I've thought about that, but at the same time, if my life might depend on it, then I want the best rifle I can fight with.

I would really like to know the weight on this beautiful rig too.
It weighs approximately 6.75lbs (weighed it with my trigger pull scale lol) my goal was a rifle under 7lbs.

Did you install and index pin between the HG and upper?

Nice rifle BTW.

For a light, may I make a recommendation? Try a Surefire X300. Do not get the 500 lumen Ultra, get the standard model. The higher power unit is too bright and you'll end up blinding yourself should you have to shine it indoors against a white wall or similar surface. Mount it at 12 o'clock and move your front sight back just a bit for clearance. Its the lightest weight light around, its ambidextrous, and you won't have to deal with any wires or cables or anything. It won't shadow in that position either.

Also its hard to go wrong with the T1. Very nice rig you have there. I have a similar rifle with older technology...its a 14.5" DD LW mid-length with a 12.0 Lite rail, BCM bolt, Noveske receiver. I like your tastes!

Sure did. I originally had a Vltor MUR and traded it for the Noveske MUR so I'd have the hole already drilled. I like the index pin idea. It's definitely rock solid.

Shot it today. Gotta say, it's a sweet shooting rifle. Almost no kick at all. I was surprised how far over I had to adjust the rear sight to get it to line up. Sadly I only had a 30yd indoor range to shoot at and the lighting wasn't that great. Didn't really do a lot for trying to shoot groups as much as I just wanted to get myself lined up and test for any malfunctions. Ran 80 rounds through it without any issues. Rifle ejects at roughly 3-330. Overall I'm very happy with this rifle.
