Has anyone had a scope go bad and lose the ability to adjust the paralex? How common is this with less expensive scopes on bigger cal. Rifles ie. 300 win mag?

Not trying to be a prick, but with cheaper-brand scopes anything can happen.

I put a Zeis scope on it, much more spendy. No paralex problem. Maybe the recoil took the life out of the cheap one?

You get what you pay for, especially in scopes. Do your research for what you need and save to get a good quality scope with your required features. Never had any problem with my scopes or red dots, but have spent a bunch over the years. All still reliable and going strong!
Don't take anything for granted. I've had a US Optics and a S&B with the same problem. Both were fixed immediately and never occurred again, but as you can see, price is not a guarantee.
