I know its been brought up before.

Not interested in dispencer/scales. Just a good digital scale. 0-$125, fast, accurate, dependable. What are you using? Thanks

Gem pro 250 is a good scale for the money at $150 most guys will tell u to get a tuned beam scale tho

Ive used a Lyman for years but its my dads so I need to get my own. That Gem pro is pretty intense... and tempting!

OK, I'm impressed. 30yr warranty, .02 grain accuracy and for $150??? Hard to believe. I think have a new favorite!!

I have a GemPro 250. It is very accurate and not hard to use or calibrate. My loads are staying together at longer ranges. But, what ever you do DO NOT turn it upside down as my son-in law did with mine, trying to clean up powder he splilled. Me thinks he owes me $150.00!!

I have a GemPro 250 that I use to check my RCBS 1500.

I use the tip of keeping some 'Static Guard' around and spritzing the air space (cover the powder). Stops drift.

I use my check weights regularly to check for drift.

Acculab used to be pretty good. They suffered from a little drift and were sensitive to static in the air, or even the lightest draft of wind would make them "hunt" a little bit. I still have an Acculab 711 that is damn near brand new. I don't use it anymore.

Vicom 123 took over where Acculab left off, and I have the VIC123 which is perfectly accurate, has a glass static shield and works great, but it still drifts a bit if I leave it unused for more than 10 minutes between throws which is rare. Accurate to .01 grains. The VIC123 is now discontinued as are all of Acculab and Vicom scales.

The Sartorius AY123 is basically the same scale as the VIC123, and will have the same accuracy as the VIC, and come with the same drift problems, but if you can control your space while reloading, you will be very happy with it. The only real changes are plastic color and a few other cosmetic changes. It may in fact have some minor electronics updates that help with the drift issues but I am not 100% sure on that yet. http://www.affordablescales.com/sartorius/m-prove-ay/ay123.asp

As a side note, Sartorius is world renowned for building accurate balances, and as far as I know, still holds the Guinness World record for most accurate balance. They know a thing or two about how to make these things, and for $335.00 you will be hard pressed to find a scale of this ilk to be any better.

You really need to step up onto a higher plain to get more accurate. And by that, I mean that the technology is fundamentally different when you get into lab quality stuff which is capable of accurately measuring down the the micro or milligram.

The scale you linked is discontinued.
They list an alternative, I wonder if it's any good.

I bought a Frankford arsenal scale from midway and it works great. I spent $19.99 on sale plus shipping and it is as accurate as other scales I have used. You don't have to spend a ton of money for good equipment.

I have a GemPro 250. It is very solid digital scale. I have left mine on a few times for a length of 2-5 days, and the scale never drifted. I still use a beam scale and various bullets to check zero/drift before and during reloading..
