I was a bit surprised to see three AR's at Walmart, in Klamath Falls Oregon yesterday. They were from BMI for 977,00 and DIA for 847.00.
first of all, I never heard of either manufacturer, although BMI might be the resurrected Bushmaster company). Secondly, even after 3-4 days they were still there.
No ammo yet, but does this mean A. the supply is loosening up, and B. the panic is over?
Anyone selling their 3,000 dollar AR for 800 bucks yet?

I've seen the same thing as well. Two different Walmarts in Pasco County Fl have ARs in stock as well as other long guns. Some rifle and shotgun ammo but none of the big sellers: .223, .308, 7.62/39mm, 7.45, 45acp, 9mm, .357, 22LR, etc., are still nowhere to be found unless you camp out at the guin counter there every morning on the outside chance some shows up.

I picked up my youngest Daughter from Bama in May and saw amply stocked shelves at a Walmart in Tuscaloosa and the Academy sports store there as well. Academy had shit loads of guns, including several types of ARs and a ton of ammo except the much desired calibers listed above...

I'm seeing more reloading components coming up on line.

Prices are very much in decline right now, and I am LMAO at some of the "investors" who bought too high and held too long.
Saw a fool in a FB group today trying to sell a couple of $900 rifles for $1,700 each.

As far as I'm concerned/aware (at least in my area) ar's and parts are back to normal pricing/supply wise. However reloading components and ammo seem to be hard to come by.

Same here in NC. Varget powder can be found but at $5-$6 more per pound...match bullets are a little hard to find but Vmax and hunting bullets are a plenty.

6 weeks ago we had maybe 3 ARs in stock. Now we probably have 80. Things are calming down but it is still a ways to go before things get back to normal.

Local Walmart has had two in stock for a few days?

All our LGSs and wallyworlds have a shit ton of ARs and ammo in stock. They just dont have the cheap tula/WPA plinking stuff that everyone really wants. This is both TN and GA where I commute.

I usually check with Bud's Gun Shop, on line, to see what the going price is for a given weapon-I'll never understand why some people will pay MORE for a used piece than one that is new! Not on SH-but on other boards, I've seen many sellers offering their used rifles and handguns for sale for prices exceeding new. Some idiots must be buying, so I'll predict they'll get the 1,700, a fool and his money.......

Has anyone seen them back in Dick's Golf & Tackle?
I know they pulled them after Sandy Hook, but that put a lot of them back in circulation somewhere, I would assume.

I have a friend who bought an Eagle Arms AR15 back during the Clinton administration's first gun/magazine scare. He paid artound $1700 IIRC, and has NEVER fired it. He got it in a green hard case that should be worth about $150-200 without a rifle, it is a really nice one. Since then, he decided to sell it, and all he wants to do is get his original purchase price back. He has missed out on my recommendation to sell it 3 times since then. If I had an extra (yeah, right) $1700, I would buy it because it is pre-ban, unfired, and most importantly, the 4 Eagle arms rifles I have fired from that batch of rifles (in that box stock configuration) have all been the best shooting AR15's I have ever handled. Two I owned would shoot the Sellier & Bellot green box cheap ball into 1-1.5 moa at 100 yards with iron sights. I thought that was fantastic.

My point is that lots of people buy during bans, some make out well, some don't. There are some gems out there, just as with cars, it is the same with firearms.
