Hey guys, I'm new to the forum but I have a question about 1 D.D. Ross. I sent my m40a5 action and barrel to him on 1 April 2013 and was charged $980 on the 4th. I've had minimal comm. With Mr. Ross and STILL don't have my barreled action as of 9 July. I would appreciate any good/bad info. Thanks

Well that's just precious...I should've left a great gun as it was. He said it would save me time and $...3 months and $980 for his USMC 30 moa rail, bolt handle, and new finish...thanks for the reply.

Well, it is now 6 September 2013 and I still do not have my barreled action from Dan Ross of D.D. Ross Company. I'm debating legal action. What do you think? It's been 5 months now for a clip slot, 30 MOA USMC rail, bolt handle extension and black oxide finish. My patience has run out and I need help with this one. Thanks.
You don't mess with a man's family, friends,firearms, or funds. I made an online order from website and he said he was a retired fire chief. Well one month later I received one part of my 5 part order and it was the wrong part. I tried to get ahold of him through the calling and the website but he never answered. So I found him on facebook and he accepted me request. I sent him messages there too, no reply. So I called his local police station to see what I could do. The detective told me I could file a report with him right there. But being the Christian I am, I decided to give him one more chance. I sent the crook a courtesy email stating that I was going to file a police report, and wouldn't ya know it, 3 hours after I sent that email I had all my money returned. Sorry its so long.
I hope you get your barreled action back unscathed. Send the barreled action to GAP for " lugslotting " to M40A3 specs if you want it done RIGHT..trust me i sent my action,barrel and 30 MOA USMC double lugged rail to ^someone who claimed to know what they were doing and they butchered my receiver and mount beyond repair.

At best case contact him and ask for your parts back as is right now, tell him not to turn another chip on anything belonging to you. Then send your parts to someone else more reputable. Believe me Ross is not the only one that makes a spec base.
