Why doesn't Forster make dies for 6.5 Creedmoor?

Out of all my centerfire rifle die sets, my Forsters are my favorites. So imagine my dismay when, after getting my first 6.5 CM rifle, I go to order some dies and discover that Forster doesn't make them in my favorite new caliber!

Does anyone have the inside skinny? I sent them an email, but haven't heard back from them yet.

Get a whidden fl bump bushing die. All I use. It takes care of everything in one go. I would also reccomend a .287 or .286 bushing. As the case necks are so thin after resizing you need a little more grip for seating to get the neck tension needed. Just my experience.

Last time I spoke to them about it they said it was on their list, but had other things ahead of it. The person indicated 2014 at the earliest.

I was looking at the Whidden dies, but I'm not sure I want to spend nearly $200 on a set!

I also just got an email back from Dee at Forster. She informed me that they do have plans to make dies for the Creed, but didn't have a timeline yet. I hope they start making them before 2014...I'll run out of factory ammo before then! :(

For the money the Hornady dies are pretty decent, though somewhat scarce. I picked up a set from Natchez last week.

Wow, that's quite awhile to be on backorder. I wonder if the Creed is really getting that popular or if the manufacturers are just that busy?

I think a little it of both. I'm just going to let the backorder ride until they come in and see if any of my buddies or another Hide member need a set.
