Thought id get to the range before the winds got too bad, forecast was saying 9-12mph out of the SSE. Well, it wasnt too bad when I got there, could feel a light wind coming out of the S & SSE like they said, 1st 2 groups werent too bad, under .5moa, then the winds picked up and groups went all to shat, but still under moa. Here's what I could muster today, on a calm day I know id do a lot better. I was shooting my 6 Creed, 4 groups of 41.6grs H4350, one group was using 210M primers, rest were BR2s, and 1 group of 41.8grs RE17 with 210Ms, that powder still showed the lowest SD(10) of the day and the 3rd best group and highest velocity by far, 3259 vs 3205 from 41.6grs H4350. Groups avged 1.787"

Nice shooting! I shot my first groups past 150 today, I ranged it at 312 yards and wanted to try a load I worked up for my AI. Not as good as yours but I was very happy, I had one that measured 1 7/8", one measured 2 1/2" and the other was about 3 3/4". The one was gonna be another 2" group but I don't know if it was the wind gust or if I pulled it, either way I screwed the pooch. This was off an atlas bipod and Tab rear bag, I did figure out that my spigot was working loose and causing the gun to want to wobble.

Thanks! I was fighting some bad habits with my shooting when developing the load so I wasn't quite sure about it until today. I have a ways to go on my shooting ability but I atleast know I can't blame the rifle or ammo.

About all I can say is be consistent, same cheekweld, I hardly touch my comb when I shoot my 6 Creed, light grip, dont need much grip for a heavier rifle, mine weighs 15.6lbs. In other words, let the rifle do all the work. What are you shooting, btw? What kinda rest, rear bag do you use? Pics, I want pics!! hahaha

I'm shooting an AIAE MK III, braked 20" Lothar Walther barrel with a Nightforce ATACR, Atlas bipod and Tab bag in the rear. My camera is dead but I will post up a couple pics either today or tomorrow. I added a shitty cell phone pic, it was when I first got if from the FFL and didn't have my atlas yet. This is the only one I have until I get more taken and uploaded, I will get the good ones on photobucket.

Thanks, it's by far my favorite rifle! I haven't put my trigger scale on it yet but I adjusted it down to probably 2 pounds, not as light as I would like it but I'm getting used to it. It's no Jewell but I do like the two stage trigger.
