Rifle Scopes Nikon Monarch X 2.5-10x44

Hello Sniper's Hide members! I'm a new member and have a question for you. I recently purchased
an FN PBR XP .308 w/ 20" barrel. I'm researching scopes for my new toy, and am considering the
Nikon Monarch X 2.5-10x44 tactical scope. I was wondering if anybody here has any field experience
with this scope?

Any info you could pass along would be greatly appreciated.

I have some very good Monarchs I use for hunting scopes (as well as Leupold). I have a 4-16 that sits on my 7 mag that rocks. That being said, I would think the tactical models should be good for their price. A lot of people shoot 600+ yds with a 10x, but I'm a magnification whore and I know I'd probably want more than 10x.

I have the Monarch X 4-16 with the Mil Dot reticle and Ive been very happy with it. Ive used it on my 260Rem(500 yd steel) and my Ruger 10/22 out to 200yards on steel. Awesome glass and very precise. Check out Nikons Spot On software that works with their scopes. Download it on your phone your you'll have it in the field.
